This change was made by general consensus to accommodate emergency
communications in the special 40-meter sub-band, 7075-7100. |

Please remember that in the case of an emergency, |

7090 will be used for Watch Nets, dedicated to general amateur use |
|
to provide situational awareness and to direct amateurs with specific
needs to the appropriate frequency. |
